Darrel V Wiener

Darrel was born in north central Minnesota and moved to Ghent in 1959. He graduated from High School in Marshall, went on to serve in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from SMSU in 1975.

Darrel was married in 1975 to Karen Sook and they raised their sons here in Marshall where each of them graduated from Marshall Senior High School and went on to further their education.

After a five-year stint with a local CPA firm, Darrel began his insurance career in 1981 and later purchased his own agency. In 1995 Darrel moved the agency from West College Dr to its present location at 200 O'Connell St.

Darrel has had his insurance license since 1981 and specializes in business insurance and group health. He has been active in many community organizations and enjoys supporting his alma mater: Southwest Minnesota State University.

Ben Wiener

Benjamin was born and raised in Marshall, Minnesota. As an active member of his high school, Benjamin was a three-sport athlete and also participated in band and choir — graduating with honors.

After graduating from Marshall Senior High School in 2001, Benjamin went on to continue his studies at Southwest Minnesota State University. In February of 2008, Benjamin received his Property and Casualty Insurance license, as well as his Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses.

Benjamin's faith and family are very important to him. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family, church brothers and sisters, and friends.

Benjamin specializes in Home, Auto, Life, and Group Health Insurance.

Becky Haugen

Becky began her insurance career in 1982 working for Wilson-O'Brien Insurance, prior to the company being bought and now known as Midwest United Insurance Services, Inc. She is licensed in Property & Casualty, Life, Accident & Health. Becky has worked in many areas of insurance and is presently the Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative and Office Manager.

Becky and her husband, Bob, reside in Cottonwood, Minnesota. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Becky's hobbies include taking photographs, scrapbooking, antique collecting, cooking and gardening.

Gloria LaVoie

In 1990, Gloria obtained her Life, Accident & Health license and began her insurance career working for Blue Cross Blue Shield in Marshall, MN. Gloria specialized in the servicing of health and medicare supplement lines of insurance. In 2002, Gloria became licensed in Property & Casualty. She has worked in many areas of insurance including, health, home, auto and commercial lines.

Gloria has two sons, Preston and Dustin. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and three dogs, scrapbooking, photography, traveling.

Kevin Andrews

Kevin was born and raised in Marion, Iowa. In high school he completed his Eagle Scout requirements while participating in basketball, soccer, track, drama and choir - graduating with honors and was inducted into the Cedar Rapids Xavier High School Hall of Fame.

After graduating from Xavier High School in 2006, Kevin went on to continue his athletic and academic pursuits at Southwest Minnesota State University. He was a four year letter winner in basketball and was a starter for the Mustangs during the 2009-2010 NCAA Elite Eight appearance. Following graduation with degrees in Accounting, Finance and Management, Kevin received the 2010 Outstanding Senior Award for his service to the university. In May of 2010, Kevin received his Life, Accident, Health, Property and Casualty Insurance Licenses.

Kevin attends Victory Christian Church in Balaton, MN where he seeks to build his faith. In his spare time he enjoys sports, movies, reading, being at the lake, and visiting with family and friends.

Kevin specializes in Home, Auto, Life, Commercial, and Health Insurance and has recieved his CLCS designation for commercial lines.

Kelly Fricke

Kelly was born and raised on a farm just south of Russell, MN and graduated from Marshall Senior High School. Kelly then received her license from the St. Cloud Beauty College for Cosmetology and Electrolysis, as well as her Managers License from the Minnesota Department of Health and spent her next 15 years focusing on Restaurant Management at various restaurants and steak houses in the area.

She married Jay Fricke in 1991 and they have two children, Dylan and Jaryn. Dylan graduates in 2011 and Jaryn in 2013. Kelly and her family live in Balaton, MN.

In December 2010, Kelly received her Property and Casualty, Life, Accident and Health Insurance Licenses and began working for Midwest United Insurance Services of Marshall, MN in January.

In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, spending time with local youth, reading, doing volunteer work, and tackling remodeling projects.

Patrick Raasch

Patrick was born and raised in Alberta, MN. After attending high school at Chokio-Alberta High, he moved to Marshall to pursue a Business degree at Southwest Minnesota State University, where he also played basketball and football for the SMSU Mustangs. Following college, Patrick worked as a manager of a Marshall restaurant for 18 years. In July 2009, he received his Property and Casualty Insurance license, as well as his Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Patrick specializes in Home, Auto, Life, Health and Commercial Insurance.

Heather Scott

Heather was raised in Clark, SD. After graduating from Clark High School, she continued her education at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND graduating in 2004. While in Fargo she took her first insurance job in 2000, she liked it so much she decided to make a career out of it. In 2008 she moved to the Appleton, MN area to work at Midwest United Insurance Services, Gary Hendrickx Agency. She is licensed in Property, Casually, Life, and Health.

Heather lives on a farm near Big Bend, MN with her husband, dog and cat. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, cross stitching, baking, reading, and weather permitting, working outside.
